High Pressure Sodium Flood Light

This HID flood light is compact, tough, and has good looking cast aluminum housing with hinged framed glass lens. It comes with an Integra Hood glare shield and stainless steel clip. A guard is also available for purchase.

  • Housing - Precision die cast aluminum, ½" NPS threaded arm with locking swivel fits all standard mounting boxes.
  • Reflector - Specular-Alzak.
  • Lens - Thermal tempered shock resistant glass.
  • Lens Gasket - High temperature tubular silicone set in die cast retaining groove to remain in place during relamping.
  • Socket - Glazed porcelain 4kv pulse rated with nickel plated screw shell and spring contacts.
  • Finish - Chip and fade resistant metallic architectural bronze or bright white epoxy powder coating.

Maintaining a large scale planned community is an ongoing challenge. Here in Hawaii, we have many elements that add to swift deterioration of common area features, including the lighting. There are those who like to bat the heads off of lights, small and large, and see how far they can sling them into traffic, the water feature or into people's backyards.

The Future Flood has, so far, been very successful because of its sturdy construction and small size of the fixture. Compared to former lighting, this model is compact, solid and also blends well with the landscaping.

Since the lighting has been in the ground for less than six months, we will wait for continued progress.
